TZM Alloy Sheet, TZM Molybdenum Alloy sheet,TZM Alloy Plate

Product Code : AL-TZM-5N-SP

TZM alloy, also called TZM molybdenum alloy, refers to the Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum alloy. TZM Alloy contains 0.50% Titanium, 0.08% Zirconium and 0.02% Carbon. TZM Molybdenum Alloy is manufactured by either P/M or Arc Cast technologies. TZM Molybdenum (TZM Alloy) has a higher recrystallization temperature, higher strength, hardness at room and elevated temperatures than pure Molybdenum. TZM Alloy offers twice the strength of pure molybdenum at temperatures over 1300 °C. The recrystallization temperature of TZM Alloy is approximately 250 °C higher than molybdenum and it offers better weld ability. For high strength applications such as rocket nozzles, furnace structural components, and forging dies, it can be well worth the cost differential. TZM Alloy has higher creep resistance and strength than pure molybdenum. ATT produces a wide range of molybdenum and molybdenum alloy mill products including forging billets, bars, rods, sheets, plates, and foil.

Applications of TZM Alloy Sheet

TZM Alloy is widely used in high-temperature applications (e.g. high-temperature furnace construction and metalworking) and in tooling for hot die forging.

Packing of TZM Alloy sheet

Standard Packing:

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.

ATTs’TZM Alloy sheet is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
