Tantalum Tube (Ta Tube)

Product Code : ME-Ta-5N-TP

Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. Previously known as tantalium,   Tantalum is a very hard, ductile, lustrous, blue-gray transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant.

ATT specializes in supplying seamless Tantalum tubing with a variety of dimensions including round, rectangular, square, and oval in numerous standard diameters from 0.02 to 6.0 inches and wall thicknesses from 0.003 to 0.500 inches. Tubing can be further processed to produce rings, washers, sleeves and sheaths. Custom configurations are also available. Materials include most metals including the rare earth metals and other advanced materials. Tubes can also be produced from custom alloys for commercial and research applications and for new proprietary technologies. Other available shapes include bar or plate form, as well as custom machined shapes and through other processes such as nanoparticles and in the form of solutions and organometallics. ATT produces to many standard grades when applicable, including Mil Spec (military grade); ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade; Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade; Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia) and follows applicable ASTM testing standards. Typical and custom packaging is available.

ATT is a professional supplier of Tantalum Tube, We also produce disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder , rod, wire, sputtering target and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available by request.

Applications of Tantalum Tube

• Used for the manufacturing of reaction vessels.
• Used for heat exchanger pipes, condensers, bayonet heaters, helical coils, thermocouples, protective tubes, etc.

Tantalum can be used to make welded tantalum tubes/tantalum pipes and seamless tantalum tubes/pipes, which have a wide range of applications. The manufacture of seamless tantalum tubes/pipes is to use extrusion, tube reduction, or deep-drawing with sheet metal. The manufacturing method of welded tantalum tubes/pipes is to first form a strip, then make it into a tube shape, and then weld the joint with gas tungsten arc welding.

Packing of Tantalum Tube

Standard Packing:

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.

ATTs’Tantalum Tube is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
