Yttrium

Yttrium is a chemical element with the symbol Y and atomic number 39.  It is a silvery-metallic transition metal chemically similar to the lanthanides and has often been classified as a "rare-earth element".The most important uses of yttrium are LEDs and phosphors, particularly the red phosphors in television set cathode ray tube displays. Yttrium is also used in the production of electrodes, electrolytes, electronic filters, lasers, superconductors, various medical applications, and tracing various materials to enhance their properties.   It is also used in thermal barrier system bond coatings on nickel, iron, and other transitional metal alloy substrates.ATT provides Yttrium and compounds at a competitive price, including Yttrium Acetate, Yttrium Carbonate, Yttrium Chloride, Yttrium Fluoride, Yttrium Hydroxide, Yttrium Metal, Yttrium Nitrate, Yttrium Oxalate, Yttrium Oxide, Yttrium Sulfate,Ytterbium is available as metal and compounds with purities from 99% to 99.999% (ACS grade to ultra-high purity);   metals in the form of foil, sputtering target, and rod, and componds as submicron and nanopowder.
